The tree though!!!! Same tree stand as I use…I’ve had to shim up trees in the past as well…Dad is a die hard, use “cat gut” (clear fishing line) to tie the tree to the wall behind you in two different spots to keep it from galling over and stabilize it (the 3M hooks work well to secure the line to the wall!)
